Berry squonk mod E-Liquid in Bristol: the review shortlist
Berry in Bristol: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What the label on Berry is allowed to say
We run berry the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Berry in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Bristol the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: berry in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a berry squonk mod really costs in Bristol
We run berry the same way in Bristol: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested berry in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a berry bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where berry goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised £54 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.74 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why berry tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to the UK need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
| What it is | This page | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Flavour | Berry | Decides coil choice more than strength does |
| Format | squonk mod | Sets how much liquid you are actually buying |
| Stock checked | 19 lines | Batch-traced, dated production runs only |
| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in the UK |
| Coil life | ~4 days | The hidden monthly cost |
| Delivery to Bristol | 2–4 business days | Buffer the reorder around this |
| Entry kit | £54 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | £1.74 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Why does berry taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the berry blend itself harsh.
How long does berry in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 8 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should berry start at?
Start at whatever the UK allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
