Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run graphite the same way in Bristol: same zero-nicotine bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Graphite zero-nicotine bottle reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, zero-nicotine bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a graphite zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Bristol
Graphite sounds like one product. It is not: a zero-nicotine bottle running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested graphite in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for zero-nicotine bottle in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On graphite the budget price and the premium price can sit within £1.86 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
Is graphite legal to sell in the UK?
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
