How we tested Licorice pen device here
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.72 per 10 ml.
Licorice in Bristol reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice pen device really costs in Bristol
Licorice in Bristol reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested licorice in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Bristol stocks.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Bristol survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for licorice in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
