How we tested Pear 60 ml bottle here
We run pear the same way in Bristol: same 60 ml bottle, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching E-Liquid in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: pear in Bristol works if the 60 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear 60 ml bottle really costs in Bristol
If you are looking at pear in Bristol, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 60 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested pear in a 60 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 60 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the 60 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 2–4 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where pear goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Bristol accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised £52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.53 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
