Salted pen device E-Liquid in Bristol: the cheap shortlist
Salted in Bristol: 15 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
Delivery, returns and what 2–4 business days really means
A salted pen device from the cheapest options in Bristol costs about £2.28 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run salted the same way in Bristol: same pen device, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: salted in Bristol works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pen device really costs in Bristol
The honest read on salted: 15 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Bristol, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Bristol.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Bristol survives.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for salted in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in the UK sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does salted in a pen device last?
In Bristol we measured 2 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within £2.28 per 10 ml once 2–4 business days is counted.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
