Salted pen device E-Liquid in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Salted in Bristol: 20 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Salted pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 4 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
A salted pen device from the flat-rate options in Bristol costs about £2.28 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted pen device really costs in Bristol
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Bristol that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within £2.28 per 10 ml.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into Bristol.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised £33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £2.28 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
UK rules cap e-liquids at 10 ml and 20 mg/ml, with batch codes on every bottle. Shipping of nicotine to Bristol runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for salted in Bristol must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
