Tropical squonk mod E-Liquid in Bristol: the flat shortlist
Tropical in Bristol: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Bristol.
What tropical costs in Bristol
Tropical in Bristol reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the flat-rate ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Most people searching E-Liquid in Bristol are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: tropical in Bristol works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tropical squonk mod really costs in Bristol
The honest read on tropical: 14 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in the UK, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 2–4 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in the UK, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised £34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run £1.6 per 10 ml.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Bristol: about £1.6 per 10 ml liquid plus £34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
How long does tropical in a squonk mod last?
In Bristol we measured 7 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
